ÖDLAND
Ödland’s music is a haunting blend of the modern, leftfield and traditional, with professed influences including Chopin, Serge Gainsbourg, Edgar Allan Poe and all points in between.
The group came together in early 2009, when songwriter and classically-trained pianist Lorenzo Papace recruited vocalist Alizée Bingöllü, multi-instrumentalist Isabelle Royet-Journoud and violinist Léa Bingöllü. They promise “a return to old things forgotten too quickly by the current music.”
Ödland released their first EP “The Caterpillar” in 2009. After adding cellist Alice Tahon to their line up, they released debut album “Ottocento” in Spring 2010. They are currently touring Europe through June to end of July.

“there’s enough delicate charm in these lovingly crafted songs to absorb even the most stoney-hearted of listeners.” Sonicreverie
